...And dancing... this no one can take from me is the full title to this piece. It was conceived Halloween night under a pregnant moon in Sedona, AZ. All the national news was full of possible terrorist attacks and I heard a story of Afghan women arrested for dancing with a tambourine. I just kept looking out at that porcelain night sky thinking “I’m still alive!”, and in this knowledge I am free in this moment...
