A mixed media monoprint I made since moving to Sedona, AZ. The title makes me giggle because she appears to be anything but a nun, but the paradox is that is how I feel -married to the landscape, to god and to creating. And there is a quiet holiness to that relationship that is monk or nun-like. Yet, there she is, ripe, full of pomegranate seeds and ocean in her left ovary, and yellow lotus on her heart.
